We are so thankful for the continued support of the Women’s Foundation of Collier County, which has awarded NAMI Collier a $45,000 grant to conduct outreach and provide support to low-income and housing-insecure senior women in our region.
This support will ensure that senior women learn the life skills they need to maintain their housing, will help them build community to reduce social isolation, and will help them build healthy coping mechanisms that will improve their mental and physical wellbeing. All together, these interventions will help senior women in our community age safely and happily in their own homes.
